For the past decade, I’ve developed extensive healthcare expertise working in both agency settings and embedded within product organizations. I’ve worked in fast-paced start-ups and highly regulated, bureaucratic environments, often leading data-driven CX transformation and setting the strategic vision for the future of health, wellness, and fitness products and services.

League, a platform as a service health tech start-up, desired to make data-driven product and design decisions. However, no established research and strategy process existed at this organization and there were limited funds to create one. In this case study, I share my process for building a democratized research practice from the ground up at this health tech start-up resulting in a 1633% increase in research projects, increased rigor and validity of studies, as well as increased independence/competence of individuals conducting research.
